How can I sharpen a katana in a SIMPLE way? no complex things please?

I just want to sharpen my katana in a very basic, easy way. Nothing special. I do have a kitchen knife sharpener in my house, and i'm willing to use that. I just want it a little sharpened, and nothing too extreme or unrealistic. Just give me a simple way, and i mean no "grinding stones" and no sand paper or anything like that.
