Why are Mexicans going to church while the American-born are abandoning religion and the churches?

They realize that there IS a God and i guess that would make them smarter than the ones who do not go to church. As for what it has gotten them, the mexicans who go to a Apostolic Pentecostal church have received healings and miracles from God and help and friendship from the fellow church members.
