Why do certain fans want "Cena fired"? ?

I'm not a Cena hater. I still like him but I liked him MORE as a heel on Smackdown. This marine gimmick has run it's course it's not even funny anymore. I don't want to see him fired just repackaged. Cena has potential I've seen it in OVW it's just the WWE wants to tone-down the wrestlers and their not letting them be who they want to be. Cena is not the only victim of this. He does remind me of Hulk Hogan in his heyday but Cena is definitely lacking something.
