Why do people say the Holy Bible does not say ity is a sin?

People edit the bible so that it makes them comfortable.The truth is that it makes us all uncomfortable at times because we all sin.Some of us are willing to try to change our ways so that we line up with God.People are always going to skip over parts of the bible to make themselves feel better.I know its in the bible and I know its an abomination.
